About the Role
Weber & Company is partnering with a pioneering global leader in consumer health technology and biosensing, known for transforming chronic health management. The organization is expanding its enterprise-wide continuous improvement strategy to enhance human health worldwide.
As the Senior Director of Operations, you will act as a visionary strategist and hands-on global practitioner. Your mission will be to instill a culture of operational excellence, daily problem-solving, and frontline empowerment throughout global Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global Kaizen and Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy across manufacturing and quality divisions.
- Establish and strengthen Daily Management Systems (DMS), leader standard work practices, and structured problem-solving methods such as A3 and Root Cause Analysis.
- Lead impactful Gemba Kaizen events on manufacturing floors to enhance product quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure all continuous improvement activities comply with medical regulatory standards, including FDA QSR and ISO 13485, maintaining readiness for audits.
- Mentor and nurture a worldwide network of Lean and CI practitioners and change advocates.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years industry experience, with at least 9 years in management or leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success driving large-scale Kaizen transformations, preferably in highly regulated sectors such as Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, or Biotechnology.
- Advanced proficiency in Lean methodologies including TPS, A3, Value Stream Mapping, 5 Whys, supported by a Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification (preferred).
- Strong executive presence with an ability to influence senior leadership and foster cultural change across organizations.
- Bachelor's degree and fluent English language skills.
- Geographical proximity within 75 miles of a local corporate office is required.
