Senior Development Manager - Commercial Office

Overview

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking to hire a seasoned Senior Development Manager to oversee the development of commercial office projects within their master development initiative. This position demands a strategic leader experienced in commercial real estate development who can guide projects from initial concept through to final delivery, ensuring they align fully with Qiddiya's vision and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of commercial office project development, including planning, design, construction, and handover.
• Create and execute strategies that enhance project efficiency, profitability, and sustainability.
• Work closely with internal departments, external consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to guarantee successful project execution.
• Perform market research and feasibility analyses to inform project decisions and maximize commercial success.
• Manage budgets, schedules, risk evaluations, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to local laws, building regulations, and environmental sustainability standards.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project progress, budget health, and emerging risks or opportunities.
• Lead and develop the project team to promote collaboration and high performance.
• Identify and implement innovative approaches to add value to Qiddiya's portfolio of commercial office properties.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 9 to 12 years of proven experience in commercial real estate development, preferably focusing on office projects.
• Proven track record handling large-scale commercial office developments from concept to completion.
• Strong expertise in financial management including budgeting, cost control, and feasibility studies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Capability to thrive in a dynamic, multidisciplinary work environment managing multiple priorities.
• Understanding of local regulatory frameworks and sustainability best practices is advantageous.
• Prior experience working within the Middle East region is considered a plus.
