Job description
Role overview
Puffy is a large-scale direct-to-consumer ecommerce brand valued at over $1B and ranked among the top five mattress brands in the United States. The company is hiring a senior conversion rate optimization leader to own the entire on-site CRO function for a high-traffic ecommerce business supported by more than $2M in monthly digital ad spend.
This position is remote worldwide, with the choice to work from the Dubai office if preferred. Dubai-based relocation support and visa sponsorship are available, and the office location offers 0% personal income tax.
You will report to the Director of Marketing and collaborate with an established analytics team that manages the data infrastructure and pipelines. Your focus will be to interpret the available data, add qualitative behavioral analysis through tools such as heatmaps and session recordings, identify funnel leaks, and turn those insights into tests and website improvements that increase revenue.
What the role is designed to do
This position is intended for a highly analytical operator who can build and run a fast-moving experimentation roadmap across a site receiving 100K+ monthly unique visitors. The work spans the full customer journey, from paid ad click through checkout, and requires the ability to translate data into practical hypotheses, launch A/B tests, and drive measurable commercial results.
The role also offers accelerated growth: the company describes it as an opportunity to build several years of CRO expertise quickly by working across analytics, UX, copywriting, experimentation, and performance marketing integration at scale.
Core responsibilities
- Take full ownership of conversion rate optimization across the website, including roadmap planning, prioritization, testing, and implementation.
- Use GA4, heatmaps, session recordings, and funnel analysis to pinpoint drop-offs and revenue bottlenecks.
- Develop hypotheses based on user behavior and analytics, then design and run A/B tests that improve conversion and revenue.
- Work closely with design and analytics partners to convert findings into live experiments and UX improvements.
- Present findings, recommendations, and business impact clearly to senior leadership, including the CEO.
- Manage several test streams at once while balancing priorities and maintaining end-to-end ownership with limited supervision.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of practical experience in CRO and analytics within ecommerce or direct-to-consumer businesses, with evidence of producing statistically valid winning tests that improved revenue.
- Advanced knowledge of GA4, including custom explorations, audience segmentation, funnel analysis, and event-level interpretation.
- Strong experience with heatmapping and session replay tools such as Hotjar, FullStory, Microsoft Clarity, or similar products, and the ability to turn observations into test ideas.
- Hands-on capability with A/B testing platforms such as Optimizely, VWO, AB Tasty, Convert, or Google Optimize, covering setup, QA, implementation, and result analysis.
- Solid grasp of experimentation statistics, including significance testing, confidence intervals, sample sizing, and common pitfalls such as peeking, multiple comparisons, and Simpson's paradox.
- Deep understanding of conversion psychology, including pricing strategy, urgency, scarcity, trust signals, social proof, and checkout optimization.
- Good understanding of UX/UI principles and how design decisions affect conversion.
- Ability to write and test persuasive copy for headlines, value propositions, and calls to action.
- Comfort using AI/LLM tools to support ideation, wireframing, and content creation for CRO work.
- Working knowledge of SQL or BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI for self-serve analysis.
- Experience operating at scale, ideally on websites with 100K+ monthly unique visitors and in environments connected to $500K+ monthly digital ad spend.
- Capability to run multiple experiments simultaneously and make decisions independently.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Preferred background
- Exposure to the sleep, wellness, comfort, or other high-consideration DTC categories serving North American consumers.
- Experience working with Shopify or Shopify Plus.
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and basic front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for implementation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with predictive modeling, customer lifetime value analysis, or advanced segmentation for prioritizing experiments.
- Background in performance marketing or paid media analytics to support end-to-end optimization from ad creative through conversion.
Compensation and benefits
Base compensation is up to USD 120,000 per year, with performance bonus potential of up to 25%. The total annual package can reach up to USD 154,800, along with comprehensive benefits.
- Monthly performance bonuses of up to 25%
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Paid time off plus public holidays
- Remote-first working model
- Access to an AI-native tool stack as part of an AI-first culture
- Option to work from the Dubai office with relocation and visa sponsorship support
- Learning and development opportunities
- International collaboration across a team representing 14+ nationalities
- Recognition through the Leaders Club program, which includes premium wellness memberships, exclusive networking events, and annual leadership retreats
- Monthly recognition through the We Are Champion program with gift vouchers and company-wide celebration
Company culture
The organization describes itself as fast-paced, ambitious, and highly execution-oriented. It values ownership, quick and thoughtful decision-making, high standards, an AI-first mindset, and strong team commitment when the mission requires it.
- Own outcomes rather than just activity
- Move quickly and act decisively
- Hold a high bar for quality
- Use AI in daily work and challenge assumptions through multi-turn AI conversations
- Work together fully when needed to achieve the goal
Additional information
The company emphasizes that this is not a routine dashboard-reporting role. It is intended for someone who wants to build the optimization function, influence revenue directly, and work closely with senior decision-makers in a growth-oriented environment.
The role is available remotely from anywhere in the world, with the possibility of relocating to Dubai if desired.
