Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a variety of consulting projects focused on operational enhancement, strategy execution, market research, and data management within manufacturing.
  • Serve as the main consultant liaising directly with clients, establishing trust with stakeholders at all tiers.
  • Perform on-site evaluations, facilitate workshops, and host strategic consultations to uncover improvement opportunities and ensure successful implementation.
  • Investigate operational issues, formulate actionable improvement plans, and lead initiatives that promote performance and sustainability.
  • Utilize data-driven problem-solving techniques to assess challenges and recommend practical solutions.
  • Present insights and strategic proposals to senior leadership and boards of directors.
  • Assist clients with strategic planning, execution, tracking, and ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Contribute to business expansion through nurturing current client relationships and pursuing new engagements.
  • Coach and mentor clients and internal associates to enhance capabilities and foster organizational development.
  • Travel frequently, approximately 75% of the time, to engage with clients on-site.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations or strategic consulting roles.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Quick Changeover, and Standard Work is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, research, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to rapidly understand business contexts, extract relevant information, and devise innovative problem-solving approaches.
  • Proven experience managing relationships with diverse stakeholders across organizational levels.
  • Effective leadership qualities including mentoring, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take responsibility for projects and schedules.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to undertake frequent travel for client projects.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $117,000 to $158,000 USD, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Potential eligibility for discretionary annual performance bonuses.
  • Multiple medical insurance options, including HMO and PPO plans.

  • Support for education, certification, and professional growth.
  • Flexible leave policies including time off, family care, parental leave, and benefits for family formation.
  • Cell phone reimbursement and travel rewards programs.
  • Additional voluntary benefits such as critical illness, accident, hospital indemnity insurance, legal plans, long-term care, pet insurance, identity theft protection, and supplemental life insurance.
  • Flexible work arrangements including remote work possibilities.
