Role overview
The Senior Compensation Consultant will bring advanced compensation expertise to support Total Rewards, HR, and broader enterprise priorities. This person will take a proactive, strategic approach to resolving compensation-related matters and delivering compensation programs and initiatives. The role will be central to supporting business partners and leaders through recurring compensation cycles and core compensation practices such as job evaluation, pay recommendations, training, and analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner to HR Business Partners and senior leaders by applying technical compensation knowledge, market practices, and internal insights.
- Advise stakeholders on compensation options, explain business implications, and help guide decisions.
- Support compensation processes and business initiatives, including mid-year and annual review cycles, pay equity reviews, market benchmarking, job evaluation, and salary planning.
- Conduct market research, analysis, and reporting to help maintain competitive compensation practices.
- Work through complex datasets, interpret findings, and solve problems while considering broader business priorities.
- Identify improvement opportunities early and drive actions through to resolution.
- Recommend, implement, and support compensation and Total Rewards solutions that improve the employee experience.
- Lead ad hoc compensation projects and analytical work as needed.
What the role requires
- At least 5 years of varied compensation experience supporting different client groups, with strong understanding of compensation philosophy and principles.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing compensation across multiple geographies.
- Preferred background in international compensation and sales compensation.
- Strong analytical and technical capability, including data preparation, analysis, and visualization.
- Excellent consultative, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to recommend practical solutions in ambiguous situations.
- Strong business understanding and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and simply.
- Ability to deliver team goals while applying change management principles.
- Self-directed mindset with the ability to make decisions independently and with limited supervision.
- Comfort working collaboratively and building strong working relationships across teams.
- Preferred familiarity with Workday.
Work arrangement
This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Salary ranges are based on location and broader market data, and most new hires are expected to start in the first half of the applicable range. Starting pay depends on relevant skills, experience, knowledge, and location. For U.S. roles, the listed salary ranges are:
- Zone A: 106700 to 204900
- Zone B: 97800 to 187900
- Zone C: 88900 to 170800
