Job description
Role overview
As a Senior Commercial Analyst within Wealth Management, you will act as a key commercial advisor to the business. The role combines market research, analytical modelling, product and client analysis, and support for planning cycles, with a strong focus on Assets Under Management (AUM) and revenue growth.
You will also prepare client-facing proposals, build pitch decks, and deliver post-sale analytics to help guide decision-making across the wealth division.
Market research
- Track the real estate landscape closely to uncover promising opportunities across the region.
- Review secondary sources such as reports and studies, then turn the findings into clear summaries for leadership.
- Publish research updates and reports on a recurring basis.
- Carry out ad hoc international research on regulations, tax rules, and related requirements for target markets.
Client proposals and pitch decks
- Partner with the Wealth Management team to assess client needs and profile risk appropriately.
- Create client proposals aligned to the client profile and the real estate research conducted.
- Coordinate with internal teams during the review stage and, after approval, prepare the client pitch deck.
Reporting and analysis
- Analyse commercial performance in depth, including AUM and revenue sources such as advisory fees and transactional income.
- Prepare management reporting for the wealth team and related assets.
Special projects
- Support additional assignments from the line manager, including research and analysis work tied to commercial, regulatory, and financial matters.
Qualifications and experience
A bachelor’s degree in research, business administration, marketing, communications, or another relevant discipline is required. The ideal candidate should bring 5 to 10 years of experience in research, business analysis, and reporting, along with a strong history of producing reports, feasibility studies, and commercial documents.
Knowledge, skills, and traits
The role calls for strong familiarity with research methods and tools, plus a solid understanding of real estate markets, products, and services. Success in this position also depends on excellent communication and interpersonal ability, strong analytical thinking, accurate data collection and interpretation, and good organisational and time-management skills. You should also be collaborative, creative, adaptable, detail-focused, and operate with a high level of integrity.
Comfort in engaging with clients, sales colleagues, and managers is essential for effective coordination and decision-making.
