About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join a reputable EPC company based in Doha, Qatar. This role involves delivering civil and structural engineering services, encompassing technical support, supervising tasks, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on various projects.
Responsibilities and Job Purpose
The core responsibility is to provide expert civil and structural engineering services focusing on project support, oversight, and cooperation with other disciplines across multiple project phases.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in civil or structural engineering, with a minimum of 8 years in conceptual studies, Front End Engineering Design (FEED), and detailed design of onshore structures.
- Over 8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry working on both Greenfield and Brownfield projects.
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is mandatory.
- Proficiency in engineering software including STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD.
- In-depth familiarity with industry codes and standards such as BS, UBC, IBC, AISC, API, ACI, and ASCE.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or progress toward professional chartership is considered a plus.
