Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is with a boutique executive outplacement firm based in Dubai and Singapore that supports the APMEA region. The business is intentionally selective rather than high-volume, working with a limited number of mid- to senior-level professionals and focusing on quality of placement and preservation of compensation, not platform activity or portal logins. The firm is designed for the realities of the region, including expatriate moves, visa-related departures, and executive transitions where discretion and reputation are critical.
What the role involves
You will manage a small portfolio of mid- to senior-level professionals and executives through career transition, covering strategy, personal positioning, market access, and negotiation. The work is hands-on and in-depth, supporting individuals who expect thoughtful outcomes and a high level of service.
Ideal background
You are likely to be a strong fit if you have delivered outplacement or career transition services within a structured provider such as LHH, Right Management, RiseSmart, Korn Ferry, Mercer, or a regional boutique, and you understand how that model operates in practice. You should also be familiar with the tension between managing large caseloads and delivering meaningful support to each person, as well as the hiring environment across APMEA, including GCC labour rules, visa considerations, and how executive placement typically happens in the region.
Not suitable if
This role is not intended for candidates who lack outplacement consulting experience, do not have a track record of supporting impacted employees, prefer highly structured environments with detailed playbooks, or want relationship management without being accountable for outcomes.
Additional information
If there is a strong match, the employer expects to respond within 1 to 2 weeks. If the profile is not aligned, there will be no misleading follow-up, but the applicant may be considered for future roles where there is a stronger fit.
