Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is for a partner company, and that employer handles the application review and the next stages. The team is hiring a Senior Business Operations Manager in the United States.
In this position, you will help steer strategic and operational execution inside a fast-moving, high-growth business that is focused on turning complex challenges into scalable, data-backed solutions. You will work where strategy, analytics, and cross-functional delivery meet, partnering closely with senior leaders to shape planning, prioritization, and execution for the company’s most important initiatives.
The role calls for someone who can take ownership of unclear problems, bring together large amounts of quantitative and qualitative information, and convert findings into practical action plans. You will collaborate with teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Engineering to strengthen efficiency and support growth. As a trusted partner to senior leadership, you will help guide decisions through rigorous analysis and clear, compelling communication. You will also contribute directly to improving internal processes, tools, and systems so the business can scale more effectively. This is a highly visible role with meaningful influence on company performance and strategic direction.
Key accountabilities
- Lead the company’s main operating cadences, including annual planning, quarterly business reviews, and weekly executive check-ins, so leadership stays aligned and informed.
- Work with cross-functional partners to shape, launch, and refine strategic programs that raise efficiency and improve business results.
- Spot bottlenecks and expansion opportunities, then develop evidence-based recommendations and support implementation with stakeholders.
- Create executive-level analysis, models, and presentations that help guide decisions for the COO and CEO.
- Independently work through complex data sets to produce insights, forecasts, and recommendations that influence business priorities.
- Design practical dashboards, lightweight tools, and automated workflows that cut manual work and improve visibility across teams.
- Drive execution across functions by influencing stakeholders without direct authority and ensuring initiatives are completed end to end.
Required background
- At least 4–6+ years of experience in management consulting, business operations, strategic operations, or a comparable role that works closely with the CEO or COO in a high-growth or top-tier consulting environment.
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability, with experience building financial or operational models.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, Looker, or similar data platforms.
- Ability to turn complex data into clear business insights and presentations for executives.
- Proven success working across multiple functions and influencing senior stakeholders without formal reporting authority.
- Solid understanding of business operations, go-to-market dynamics, and organizational execution frameworks.
- SQL knowledge and data-querying experience are advantageous.
- Exposure to AI tools or automation workflows used to improve operations is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong storytelling ability.
- Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently in ambiguous situations.
Compensation and benefits
- Competitive pay benchmarked to the U.S. market, with salary bands that vary by location.
- Equity eligibility plus performance-based bonus potential.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage with a strong employer contribution.
- Flexible paid time off to support balance and rest.
- Fully paid parental leave with a phased return-to-work arrangement.
- Remote-first setup with an optional coworking support stipend.
- Home office and internet/connectivity stipends to help support remote work.
- Annual learning and development budget for ongoing growth.
- Company-wide recharge days designed to encourage recovery and wellbeing.
- Inclusive, mission-led environment centered on collaboration and impact.
