Job description

Role overview

Americana Foods is looking for a strategic Senior Business Analyst to lead transformation work that improves the way the business operates. This position combines commercial and sales process understanding, strong analytical thinking, product-style ownership, and practical experience building Agentic AI solutions. The right person will be proactive, comfortable with uncertainty, and able to turn complex business challenges into scalable, automated, AI-enabled outcomes. The role partners closely with senior strategy, commercial, and digital stakeholders to support evidence-based decisions, greater efficiency, and innovation.

Product mindset and ownership

You will manage business solutions as if they were products: clarifying problem statements, creating roadmaps, prioritizing work, and taking accountability for results from start to finish. A key part of the job is converting stakeholder requirements into well-defined needs, measurable value, and iterative improvements.

Sales and commercial process improvement

The role requires deep analysis of the full sales journey, including lead generation, pipeline management, forecasting, conversion, and revenue realization. You will work with commercial teams to find bottlenecks and introduce data-led improvements that increase sales speed and effectiveness.

Agentic AI and transformation leadership

You will help shape, test, and roll out Agentic AI solutions across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, HR, and Customer Experience. This includes designing autonomous and human-in-the-loop agent workflows, building use cases with measurable ROI, and monitoring performance against business targets. The role also calls for keeping up with new AI capabilities and proactively bringing in ideas that can transform the business.

Analytics, reporting, and insights

Strong quantitative analysis will be used to examine large and complex datasets, uncover patterns and root causes, and turn findings into practical recommendations. You will also build analytical models that support forecasting, scenario planning, and ongoing performance management.

MIS reporting and Power BI

You will design, build, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports that track business performance. This includes developing data models, DAX measures, and interactive visualizations that provide leadership with accurate, timely, and decision-ready KPIs and strategic metrics.

Automation and process improvement

The position involves identifying automation opportunities using tools such as Power Automate, Python, or RPA platforms. You will collaborate across functions to redesign workflows, remove manual effort, and create scalable processes suited for future growth.

Strategic analysis, technology enablement, and governance

You will study market trends, competitor comparisons, and internal results to support strategy decisions and challenge assumptions. In partnership with IT and transformation teams, you will assess, pilot, and implement digital tools that strengthen reporting, forecasting, and operational visibility. You will also maintain documentation for automated processes, AI agent workflows, and reporting standards, while supporting training, onboarding, change adoption, internal controls, data governance, and security requirements.

Qualifications and experience

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a similar discipline is required, while a master’s degree or MBA is considered an advantage. Additional certifications in analytics, Power BI, automation, AI platforms, product management, or Agile are a plus. The role calls for at least 7 years of experience in business analysis, financial systems, commercial or sales analytics, or transformation work, along with exposure to digital transformation and AI/automation initiatives. Experience with sales processes and/or finance processes such as budgeting, forecasting, or month-end close is also expected, as well as a history of owning solutions or products from concept through delivery.

Core competencies

Successful candidates should bring a transformation-focused and challenger mindset, strong ownership, excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, strong stakeholder influence, comfort with ambiguity, curiosity, and the ability to communicate clearly at executive level.

Technical strengths

Advanced Power BI and Excel skills are important, and Tableau is an advantage. You should also be comfortable with statistical analysis, trend modeling, automation platforms such as Power Automate, UiPath, or Python scripting, and have a solid understanding of Agentic AI, LLMs, agent orchestration, and digital transformation. Strong SQL and data-querying capability is required, while familiarity with CRM systems, Route to Market platforms such as Salesforce, Dynamics, Mirnah, and Sales Buzz, and sales analytics is beneficial.
