About the Role
ALTOUR, a division of Internova Travel Group, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to shape and deliver end-to-end business requirements for a global corporate travel technology environment. The role supports complex systems such as supplier direct links, online booking tools, agent platforms, accounting integrations, and AI-enabled solutions. It is focused on turning business goals into practical requirements, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and simplifying processes.
The company operates internationally, with more than 1,000 team members and a footprint in over 80 countries. The workplace is described as collaborative, innovation-focused, and designed to help people grow while contributing meaningful ideas.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the collection, analysis, and validation of requirements for large, cross-functional initiatives spanning corporate travel systems, supplier connections, online booking tools, agent tools, automation, accounting systems, and AI-related solutions.
- Work with Business Product Owners and other stakeholders to shape solution ideas, surface risks and dependencies, and identify opportunities for automation and better cost efficiency.
- Prepare and refine business requirements, functional specifications, and supporting analysis so they align with strategy and are technically achievable.
- Create detailed, high-quality documentation for business and system needs, including user guidance and operational support materials.
- Serve as the main point of coordination between Business Product Owners and development teams to keep expectations aligned and decisions moving forward.
- Map current and future business processes, system flows, and integration points from end to end.
- Develop functional solution designs that support scalable, efficient, and automated travel operations.
- Coordinate requirements work across development, testing, and business teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Define test plans and acceptance criteria, and carry out functional and integration testing to confirm business outcomes.
- Work with a high degree of independence while involving SMEs, leadership, or other team members when needed to solve problems.
- Take full ownership of assigned deliverables and ensure they are completed on schedule and at the expected quality level.
- Spot meaningful issues and risks early, escalate them appropriately, and keep documentation current.
- Handle related analysis and additional assigned tasks as required.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience converting complex business needs into user stories and structured requirements.
- Strong knowledge of corporate travel operations, including distribution, booking, fulfillment, servicing, and settlement across airlines, hotels, online booking tools, and agency settings.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Amadeus; Sabre is preferred. Experience should include requirements definition, system design, testing, and release support.
- Proven track record of collaborating with engineering teams through the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design to testing and deployment.
- Solid background in systems integration and vendor coordination, including GDSs, NDC providers, BPOs, and SaaS platforms.
- Advanced analytical and technical capability, with expert-level use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and working knowledge of relational databases.
- Ability to communicate effectively, influence senior leaders, manage several priorities under pressure, think proactively beyond prescribed steps, and learn quickly in complex or unfamiliar areas.
- Strong understanding of global travel agency operations, online booking tools, mid-office automation, and technologies used by travel agents.
- Experience using Jira and Smartsheets.
