Role overview

In this senior business analysis role, you will connect business needs with technical delivery to support key projects and strategic programs across AP+. You will work with stakeholders to clarify challenges, shape requirements, and turn them into practical solutions that can be delivered effectively. The role also involves reviewing current processes and systems, finding opportunities to improve them, and producing clear documentation that supports successful execution. As a senior team member, you will help lift business analysis standards, share expertise, and contribute to ongoing capability development.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business problems and turn them into actionable requirements.
  • Review business processes and identify ways to improve efficiency and customer experience.
  • Assess possible solutions, understand business impacts, and support sound decision-making.
  • Run workshops and partner with cross-functional teams to support effective project delivery.
  • Convert technical information into clear, practical business insights.
  • Support solution design, testing, rollout, and implementation activities.
  • Promote business readiness and help drive change adoption across the organisation.
  • Prepare and keep business analysis documentation accurate, complete, and aligned with AP+ governance requirements.

What you will bring

We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst who can handle complex challenges and shape customer-centred solutions. You will need to be proactive, analytical, and confident working across large-scale initiatives. Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle and support UAT. A collaborative mindset and a willingness to mentor others will also be important.

Additional experience valued

Experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial:

  • eftpos and card payments
  • APIs and systems integration
  • payments and financial services
