About the Role
Adree is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to help deliver government-sector initiatives by capturing, structuring, and managing business requirements. This position serves as a key link between business teams and technical delivery groups, making sure operational needs are translated into practical solutions that enable digital transformation, process enhancement, and enterprise system rollouts.
Core Responsibilities
- Collect, assess, and formalize business requirements from stakeholders.
- Run workshops, interviews, and structured discovery sessions to uncover needs and expectations.
- Spot business challenges, process inefficiencies, and areas where improvements can be made.
- Review both existing and future business processes to support solution design.
- Clarify requirements and keep them aligned with project goals throughout delivery.
- Draft and update Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
- Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Build process maps, business rules, and functional specifications.
- Maintain traceability of requirements across the project lifecycle.
- Prepare detailed, professional project documentation.
- Work closely with Product Managers, business owners, government stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Lead validation and clarification sessions to confirm understanding of requirements.
- Help ensure business expectations match what delivery teams are building.
- Support communication flow between business and technical groups.
- Assist with backlog grooming and prioritization.
- Join sprint planning and requirements walkthrough sessions.
- Contribute to user acceptance testing activities.
- Support change management and business readiness efforts.
- Help drive delivery within agreed timelines.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience working as a Business Analyst.
- Mandatory background in large-scale government sector projects.
- Hands-on exposure to digital transformation, business process improvement, or enterprise systems work.
- Strong experience in requirement elicitation, business analysis, and writing user stories.
- Prior work in Agile environments is required.
- IIBA certification such as ECBA, CCBA, or CBAP is mandatory.
- Agile, Scrum, or PMP certification will be an added advantage.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Ability to facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder discussions in both English and Arabic.
- Strong documentation and presentation ability.
- Experience in government entities, ministries, authorities, or other public-sector organizations is preferred.
- Direct collaboration with business owners and stakeholders is preferred.
- Experience in operational, product, or delivery-focused environments is preferred.
- Backgrounds from consulting firms are not preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
- Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
- Understanding of system integrations and APIs.
- Familiarity with business process modelling methods.
- Ability to work independently while handling several priorities at once.
