Role overview
This position is for an experienced Senior Business Analyst who can steer end-to-end initiatives, work closely with technology and business teams, and help turn ideas into delivered solutions. The role involves both analysis and coordination, with responsibility for shaping project scope, guiding delivery, and supporting issue resolution.
Key responsibilities
- Mentor and support other IT business analysts as needed.
- Take ownership of projects from early concept through to final implementation.
- Collect, assess, and translate business needs into clear project requirements and documentation.
- Partner with business stakeholders and software developers, including remote coordination when required.
- Review whether proposed solutions are practical to implement and keep the project boundaries under control.
- Track project schedule, scope, and cost, while prioritizing work and sharing timely updates with stakeholders.
- Investigate reported problems and service requests, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Perform gap analysis against a benchmark to uncover opportunities to improve the system.
- Contribute to Project Management Office (PMO) activities.
Requirements
- A degree in Business IT, Computing Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst or Project Manager.
- Knowledge of securities trading is important; experience in pre-trade flows such as Front Office or Middle Office, or post-trade flows such as Back Office, is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of software development life cycles and Agile practices is a plus.
- Someone proactive, energetic, self-driven, and focused on delivering results.
- A mindset aligned with servant leadership and teamwork.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, with good listening ability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business users.
- Any experience with programming or scripting languages such as SQL, CSS, or HTML would be beneficial.

This role appears to be based in Singapore and is intended for full-time, onsite work.
