Role overview

This role is on behalf of a partner organization that handles the application process and all subsequent hiring steps. The employer is seeking a Senior Brand Designer who is located in the United States.

In this position, you will take ownership of high-impact brand identity work for a varied set of clients and organizations. You will guide branding projects from early discovery through final rollout, turning strategic input into clear and compelling visual systems. The work is fully remote and highly collaborative, with close partnership across disciplines to build brand experiences that are thoughtful, effective, and innovative. You will also act as a trusted creative advisor, helping clients navigate design decisions and confidently articulate their brand direction. This opportunity suits a seasoned design leader who is comfortable working through ambiguity, enjoys coaching others, and is motivated by raising the quality and influence of brand design.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct the creation of end-to-end brand identity systems and ensure they are applied consistently across digital, print, environmental, packaging, and experiential channels.
  • Turn strategic findings into strong visual concepts that support client priorities and commercial objectives.
  • Show and explain creative directions to clients and stakeholders, leading conversations and incorporating feedback throughout the branding journey.
  • Develop clear brand standards and rollout tools that support adoption and keep the brand consistent over time.
  • Work in close coordination with strategists, writers, project managers, and designers to deliver unified branding work.
  • Join discovery sessions such as workshops, interviews, research efforts, and client meetings to help shape the creative approach.
  • Support and coach other designers while helping strengthen the team’s overall creative output and culture.
  • Contribute to wider branding initiatives by adding perspective on strategy, messaging, naming, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience leading brand identity and visual system projects at a senior level.
  • Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, plus working knowledge of Figma and Sketch.
  • Deep experience designing brandmarks and identity systems and adapting them across many formats and media.
  • Clear ability to connect business strategy and brand strategy with effective creative execution.
  • Background managing client relationships, presenting to executive stakeholders, and handling complex feedback cycles.
  • Solid understanding of print production and experience working alongside web development teams.
  • Excellent spoken, written, and presentation communication skills in English.
  • Ability to keep creative quality high while balancing business needs, deadlines, and project limitations.
  • Strong organizational ability to manage several projects at once in a fast-moving environment.
  • Sharp attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Experience mentoring designers and contributing to a collaborative creative environment.
  • Additional strengths in motion design, illustration, UI design, photography, art direction, 3D design, coding, type design, information design, or copywriting are advantageous.
