Role overview
This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced body corporate professional who is confident handling complex portfolios, developing trusted client relationships, and advising committees and property owners with practical, expert input.
You will be responsible for a varied portfolio of developments, with additional ownership of remediation work and major capital projects. The position suits someone who values professionalism, innovation, and solution-oriented advice.
Key duties
- Oversee a body corporate portfolio while ensuring all legal obligations and service standards are met.
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service.
- Arrange, run, chair, and record body corporate meetings.
- Draft and present annual budgets, assess financial reports, and track cashflow needs.
- Advise on governance matters, compliance, and responsibilities under the Unit Titles Act.
- Handle insurance renewals, claims, and related compliance tasks.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, and suppliers for maintenance, repairs, and major project delivery.
- Manage debt collection processes and explain financial consequences to committees.
- Prepare and check statutory notices, reports, and supporting documentation.
What you should bring
- At least 3 years of experience in body corporate management.
- Solid knowledge of the Unit Titles Act 2010 and governance requirements.
- Background managing complex body corporate portfolios.
- Hands-on experience with remediation or major capital works projects.
- Strong capability in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and meeting leadership skills.
- Good organisation and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong computer skills and a careful eye for detail.
- Valid New Zealand working rights.
