Senior Analyst/Associate, Finance Treasury (Contract)

Role Overview

Maybank Securities Singapore is seeking a Treasury specialist to oversee day-to-day cash operations, banking arrangements, foreign exchange exposure, regulatory submissions, and broader treasury and financial risk support.

Key Responsibilities

• Run daily cash management activities, making sure liquidity is available for obligations, loan drawdowns, deposit placements, and settlement of cash or payment issues.
• Oversee bank account setup and closure, update account mandate details, and maintain e-banking access.
• Track foreign currency exposure and carry out FX transactions with banks to hedge risk positions.
• Check foreign exchange quotations and confirm the correct rates are used.
• Monitor margin requirements across counterparties and ensure margin calls are met without delay.
• Coordinate with banks on all treasury-related banking matters.
• Validate wire transfer instructions.
• Retrieve reports from multiple prime brokers.
• Prepare daily Risk-based Capital reports.
• Compile daily, weekly, and monthly regulatory reporting.
• Consolidate information from different sources for MIS interest allocation reports.
• Prepare management reports and other supporting analyses.
• Support ad hoc treasury and finance projects as needed.

Requirements

• A degree in Accountancy, Business, Banking, Finance, or a closely related field, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• A collaborative team member who is detail-oriented and able to stay effective under pressure.
• Self-motivated, proactive about learning, and capable of working on own initiative.
• Comfortable operating under tight deadlines.
