About the Role
The Ministry of Justice's Sector Insights team is seeking a Senior Analyst dedicated to harnessing data to generate actionable insights for justice sector leaders. The role involves creating monitoring and reporting tools that track justice initiatives' performance, delivering clear, evidence-based advice for decision-makers. This position emphasizes collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including justice agencies, courts, iwi partners, and external providers, to enhance data-driven improvements across the sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement reporting products for ongoing tracking of justice outcomes.
- Utilize strong analytical and communication competencies to produce well-founded evidence and translate complex results into practical guidance for policy and operational leaders.
- Engage effectively with multiple stakeholders to support evidence-based enhancements in justice sector operations.
- Employ analytical, research, and coding skills to investigate performance, identify patterns, and extract meaningful insights from data.
- Convert intricate findings into accessible insights that assist decision-makers in assessing progress and identifying improvement opportunities.

Salary Range
The Senior Analyst position offers an annual salary between 112766 and 142878 NZD, dependent on skills and experience.
