Senior Accountant

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to efficiently handle our financial activities and ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations. This position demands proficiency in Tally Accounting, GST filing, accounts management, along with strong MS Excel skills for comprehensive financial analysis and reporting.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting tasks such as general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliation.
• Maintain precise financial records using Tally Accounting software.
• Prepare and file GST returns promptly to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct financial analysis periodically, including budgeting and forecasting to aid management decisions.
• Compile financial statements comprising balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Execute month-end and year-end closing activities ensuring complete and accurate records.
• Work closely with internal teams to optimize accounting workflows and integrate best practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax processes.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior accountancy staff when required.
• Keep abreast of updates in accounting regulations and industry developments, adapting practices accordingly.

Work Schedule and Location

Working hours are from 9 AM to 7 PM, with seven working days weekly and two holidays allowed per month. Applicants must reside within 20 kilometers of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
