The role calls for strong precision, the ability to handle multi-platform and multi-currency operations, and a solid grasp of international finance processes.
This is a high-responsibility opportunity with flexibility during standard business hours, the option to work in a hybrid setup, and the chance to contribute in a fast-moving, collaborative global environment. Additional hours may be needed during busy periods such as month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.

- Build and maintain amortization schedules for prepaid and capital spending.
- Run payroll activities across several countries and platforms.
- Review the partnership invoicing calendar regularly and configure the related revenue recognition entries in NetSuite.
- Prepare, reconcile, and file HST/GST, Ontario EHT, and Ontario WSIB returns, including annual submissions.
- Complete detailed balance sheet reviews and related adjustments.
- Help ensure timely and accurate monthly and quarterly close processes.
- Support AP and AR operations, including employee reimbursements, vendor payments, and contractor payouts across multiple countries and currencies.
- Perform annual payroll reconciliations to support accurate T4 reporting.

- Arrange RRSP cheques for senior leadership.
- Manage renewals for several corporate insurance policies and address internal insurance-related questions.
- Track CRA correspondence and respond to audit-related requests when needed.
- Maintain accounting systems and support ongoing process improvements to boost accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare clear and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Contribute to public company reporting and board-level reporting.
- Track and reconcile foreign exchange impacts.
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, tax rules, and internal controls.
- Work with external providers, auditors, and government bodies as required.
- Guide AP and AR cycle activities.
- Support annual audits and organize documents for external auditors.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or a similar designation is preferred.
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, including exposure to multi-entity, multi-currency, and international operations, or more than 3 years in public audit.
- Hands-on experience with payroll systems, accounting software, and platforms used across different countries.
- Strong command of Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience preparing reports for senior management and/or board audiences.
- Well-developed analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational abilities.
- Comfort working with several deadlines at once in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work extra hours during reporting cycles.
- As an advantage: fluency in English plus Spanish or German.
- As an advantage: knowledge of Spanish tax rules and/or Spanish GAAP (PGC).
- As an advantage: familiarity with NetSuite accounting, HUMI, DEEL, Tipalti, and banking platforms.
