Hakimo is an AI-driven security company that has raised $32M in total funding from Vertex Ventures, Zigg Capital, Neotribe Ventures, Rocketship.vc, and Carrier Ventures. The company has expanded its customer base three times over across multifamily housing, car dealerships, construction sites, and large enterprise organizations.

Its platform uses machine learning and analytics to help businesses monitor security activity, manage incidents more effectively, and shift from traditional security operations to a more intelligent and proactive model.

Role Overview

This position is focused on managing and growing a portfolio of multifamily asset manager accounts. The person in this role will act as the main relationship owner for each account, guiding clients from onboarding through renewal while creating opportunities for retention and expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of a portfolio of multifamily asset manager accounts and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Develop strong advisory relationships with asset managers, portfolio managers, and leaders in property operations.
  • Increase revenue through retention, upselling, cross-selling, and identifying growth opportunities across existing portfolios.
  • Lead recurring business reviews centered on customer results, security effectiveness, ROI, and business impact at the portfolio level.
  • Work closely with Pre-Sales, Implementation, Customer Success, Product, and Support teams to ensure seamless transitions, quick value realization, and healthy long-term accounts.
  • Serve as the initial escalation contact for client concerns and coordinate internal teams to resolve issues quickly while monitoring accounts that may be at risk.
  • Keep CRM data current, including account details, expansion pipeline, renewal projections, and customer health indicators.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in account management, strategic sales, or other client-facing revenue roles, ideally within multifamily real estate, PropTech, or real estate technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to hit or surpass retention, expansion, renewal, or growth targets in a B2B setting.
  • Confident executive presence and the ability to manage complex relationships involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Capacity to connect product features to clear business outcomes and return on investment.
  • Working understanding of multifamily asset management, property operations, or real estate investment processes.
  • Strong commercial judgment, including experience with account expansion, renewal negotiation, and portfolio growth.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment with a high level of ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent communication skills across verbal, written, and presentation formats.

Nice to Have

  • Background working with institutional, private equity-backed, REIT, family office, or operator-investor multifamily portfolios.
  • Exposure to property management systems or related technology integrations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience representing an organization at industry conferences, client events, or executive review meetings.
