Job description
About Kalilos
Kalilos is a comprehensive Amazon partnership agency committed to elevating brands to their fullest potential. As an Official Amazon Developer Partner, we deliver top-tier white-glove services focused on data-driven management across advertising, catalogs, inventory, compliance, Seller/Vendor Central platforms, and detailed reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full P&L responsibilities—including sales, margins, ACoS, TACoS, and return metrics—for approximately a dozen brand accounts, developing integrated strategies to meet client objectives.
- Lead strategic Amazon initiatives encompassing advertising efforts, catalog/listing enhancements, pricing, Buy Box tactics, inventory planning, product rollouts, and promotional events.
- Serve as the primary liaison on client communications, managing expectations, conducting meetings, and proactively addressing issues before clients identify them.
- Manage and mentor a dedicated pod of professionals including Project Managers, Operations, Infrastructure, PPC, and Creative teams; delegate tasks and conduct quality assurance prior to campaign launches.
- Perform critical analyses and challenge PPC audit plans, ensuring campaigns are genuinely ROI-driven rather than superficially active.
- Maintain key account health factors such as Buy Box win rates, product suppressions, compliance, reinstatement processes, and Seller Support cases.
- Coordinate execution of major shopping events like Prime Day, overseeing deals, ad spend ramps, inventory logistics, and real-time performance monitoring.
- Produce thorough data-centric reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis that not only presents figures but explains fluctuations and underlying causes.
- Utilize proprietary internal technologies and the Kalilos operating system to manage client portfolios, monitor live account status alerts, and maintain structured pre- and post-call workflows.
Required Qualifications
- At least five years managing Amazon brand accounts either from an agency or brand perspective.
- Proven expertise in operating both Seller Central and Vendor Central platforms.
- Strong proficiency with PPC metrics and techniques including ACoS, TACoS, ROAS, campaign design, keyword management, negations, and ad placements, capable of debating and validating PPC specialists’ strategies.
- A broad understanding of catalog management, listing optimization, account health, and inventory processes alongside advertising.
- A results-oriented approach demonstrating ownership of P&L outcomes and revenue maximization beyond mere task completion.
- Effective leadership skills managing small remote teams without micromanagement.
- Outstanding client communication abilities, characterized by clarity, promptness, honesty, and calmness under pressure with willingness to exceed client expectations.
- Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple accounts simultaneously without losing track of details.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience engaging with international marketplaces such as the UK and EU.
- Daily usage of AI tools with the discernment to identify inaccuracies or hallucinations.
- Industry experience in categories like apparel, wellness/supplements, industrial/safety, or lifestyle sectors.
