This role is for a self-serve gas bar attendant at Esso in Sharon, Ontario. The position requires working at the physical site, with no remote option available.

Experience
Applicants should have between 1 and less than 7 months of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register accurately.
- Handle cash, cheque, and debit or credit card transactions.
- Scan merchandise items.
- Collect payment for goods and services.
- Balance daily or shift receipts against total sales.
- Use suggestive selling techniques.
- Restock shelves and keep the counter area clean.
- Welcome and assist customers.
- Accept reservations or take-out orders when required.
- Deliver prompt and courteous customer support.
- Check customer age before selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Credentials
A Smart Serve certification is required.
Work Setting
