Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Security Penetration Tester to perform thorough security assessments on web applications, mobile apps, and microsites. The role requires preparing detailed reports of findings, proposing mitigation strategies, and possibly conducting additional security tests to verify vulnerabilities have been addressed.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute penetration tests across web, mobile platforms, and microsites, compiling comprehensive testing reports.
- Coordinate follow-up measures with stakeholders based on test outcomes, including additional security evaluations if required.
- Deliver penetration testing results and documentation to clients within agreed timelines.
- Recommend effective solutions to remediate any identified security weaknesses.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Security, Information Systems, or related field.
- A minimum of five years' experience specializing in web penetration testing.
- Solid understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills paired with a genuine passion for IT security, technology, and networking.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of recognized penetration testing certifications.
- At least one year of programming experience focused on coding and algorithms.
- Experience managing cybersecurity solutions at the enterprise scale.
- Proficiency with both Windows and Linux server environments.
- Advanced technical knowledge in IT and strong analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated team collaboration with high initiative, motivation, and a results-driven approach.
- Excellent skills in communication, documentation, and organizational tasks.
- Familiarity with networking, system administration, and infrastructure architecture.
