Security Officer

Role Overview

Singapore Swimming Club is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe, friendly, and well-managed environment for members, guests, and colleagues. In this role, you will contribute not only to security operations but also to the overall experience of everyone entering and using the Club.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle everyday security tasks across the Club premises.
• Enforce Club regulations and policies for members, visitors, and employees.
• Oversee access control at the main entrances and other assigned checkpoints.
• Deliver courteous and professional service to members, guests, and visitors.
• Carry out checks for staff and membership verification when needed.
• React promptly and composedly during emergencies such as fire alarms or first aid incidents.
• Patrol the Club grounds and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security concerns.
• Help keep vehicle movement orderly in car parks and driveway areas.
• Document incidents accurately in the security occurrence log.
• Coordinate with fellow team members and assist supervisors with daily security operations.
• Take on additional duties assigned by management to support safety and smooth Club operations.

Requirements

• At least secondary school education, plus a minimum of 2 years’ relevant security work experience.
• Must hold a valid Security Licence and have completed WSQ RTT.
• Should be comfortable handling desk-based duties and using basic computer functions.
• CERT and First Aid/AED training will be considered an added advantage.
• Need a service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
