Role overview

The organisation is seeking a focused and motivated Security Consultant to help deliver governance, risk management, and compliance services for its customers. This is a full-time permanent onsite position and offers the chance to contribute to security programmes for organisations of national importance while working alongside a highly capable team.

What you will need

Success in this position requires solid knowledge of information security and technology, practical experience applying that knowledge in an information security setting, and strong professional qualities. The ideal candidate will be committed to helping organisations improve their security posture and should be able to bring many of the following strengths:

  • A university degree and/or relevant experience in a related field
  • Strong academic report writing ability and prior writing experience
  • Broad understanding of information security principles
  • Exposure to industry security frameworks and standards
  • Working knowledge of information security and technology domains
  • Progression through industry security certification pathways
  • Confidence working in a professional services environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Interest in contributing to the wider security industry and community
