Overview
Security Finance is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to work remotely from eligible states, supporting multiple Agile teams to successfully deliver quality software. This full-time role requires quarterly travel to Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, foster collaboration across teams, and promote continuous process improvements to enhance organizational Agile maturity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams to maintain and prioritize product backlogs effectively.
- Identify and remove impediments to help teams deliver solutions on schedule while fostering teamwork.
- Support user story refinement with Product Owners to ensure clarity, proper sizing, and prioritization of work.
- Encourage strong communication among Development, QA, Product, and business stakeholders.
- Coordinate incident triage and response efforts involving internal and external groups.
- Advocate for Agile principles and lead initiatives to increase Agile maturity across the organization.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and project success.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements to optimize team effectiveness and business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master credential is mandatory.
- At least five years' experience serving as a Scrum Master in software development settings.
- Proven ability facilitating Agile Scrum processes with multiple teams.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira for Agile project management.
- Strong grasp of software development lifecycles and Agile frameworks.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Excellent critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working remotely, collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience in financial services is favored.
- Dependable internet access and proficiency using remote collaboration and video platforms.

Additional Information
This role requires candidates to reside in Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Wisconsin.
