SAP Test Manager (SAP FICO)

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced SAP Test Manager with deep knowledge of SAP FICO to lead testing efforts for SAP implementation and transformation programs. This role requires practical ownership of SAP testing across at least one full SAP FICO implementation and one SAP FICO testing or support engagement.

Role Summary

You will shape the overall test approach, drive planning and execution, coordinate with business and technical stakeholders, and help ensure dependable SAP FICO outcomes across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive testing end to end for SAP FICO initiatives.
• Create detailed test strategies, test plans, and test timelines.
• Run Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.
• Work closely with SAP functional consultants, technical teams, business users, and project managers to align testing efforts.
• Examine business requirements, functional specifications, and test scenarios for accuracy and completeness.
• Track defects through the full lifecycle, including logging, prioritization, and closure coordination.
• Make sure testing fully covers SAP FI and CO processes.
• Share regular test progress updates on a daily, weekly, and leadership-reporting basis.
• Assist with Go-Live, Cutover, and Hypercare support.
• Spot testing risks early and put mitigation plans in place.
• Coach and support members of the testing team.

Required Experience and Skills

The ideal candidate should bring strong SAP FICO testing experience, with hands-on exposure to both implementation and QA/support projects. Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC environments is required, along with the ability to manage testing teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Use of SAP Solution Manager, including Test Suite and ChaRM
• Working knowledge of Jira or Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with HP ALM or Micro Focus ALM
• Exposure to SAP Focused Build
• Understanding of SAP Activate methodology
• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches

Additional Advantage

• Experience with SAP testing automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori testing
• Understanding of SAP integration testing across FI-MM and FI-SD
• Exposure to SAP BTP-based applications

Location and Employment

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Hyderabad, India. The role is open to candidates with 7+ years of experience, including at least 5 years in SAP testing.

Compensation

The offered annual pay range is INR 6,00,000 to INR 16,00,000.
