SAP HCM Time Management Consultant

Role Overview

Capgemini is seeking an experienced SAP HCM Time Management Consultant to join its team in India. This role focuses on configuring, maintaining, and supporting SAP HCM time-related processes while ensuring smooth integration with payroll and other HR modules.

Work Location

This position is based in Pune, with work locations also mentioned for Bangalore and Mumbai.

Experience Required

The role calls for 8 to 13 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and provide ongoing support for SAP HCM Time Management processes.
• Create and maintain work schedules, schedule rules, holiday calendars, and absence/attendance types.
• Build and manage time evaluation schemas and PCRs.
• Ensure reliable integration with Payroll, PA, and OM modules.
• Collect business needs and convert them into functional RICEF specifications.
• Support time capture activities including positive and negative time recording, as well as CATS.
• Investigate and fix time evaluation issues and data mismatches.
• Take part in unit testing, integration testing, and UAT cycles.
• Work on interfaces with external systems such as biometric devices.
• Deliver production support, prepare documentation, and conduct end-user training.

Core Expertise Needed

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP HCM Time Management.
• Solid knowledge of time evaluation, including schemas and PCRs.
• Good understanding of work schedules and time data processing.
• Experience handling absence and attendance management.
• Prior exposure to payroll integration.
