Job description
About the Company
foodpanda is part of Delivery Hero Group, a global local-delivery platform focused on making ordering fast, simple, and convenient. The business operates across roughly 65 countries and is headquartered in Berlin, Germany. Delivery Hero has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2017 and is included in the MDAX index.
Team Overview
The Digital Sales and Operations team powers foodpanda’s commercial execution. The team builds and runs the systems, workflows, and tools that help the sales organisation scale across markets, verticals, and functions.
Role Overview
This senior individual contributor position reports to the Regional Salesforce Manager and is responsible for end-to-end delivery of Salesforce and CRM initiatives across multiple markets. The role does not include people management, but it does require leadership, influence, and ownership in a complex multi-stakeholder setup.
You will act as the bridge between commercial teams and technology, turning business needs into system solutions, keeping projects on track, and building trust with stakeholders from local operations through regional leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with local market teams and regional stakeholders to map processes, uncover requirements, and run structured discovery workshops.
- Take ownership of projects from scoping and requirements gathering through configuration, testing, and release into production, while meeting agreed timelines.
- Review process gaps and shape Salesforce solutions that improve business performance and create longer-term efficiency.
- Convert business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technical implementation.
- Represent the region in conversations with global teams, help shape roadmap priorities, and ensure regional needs are clearly voiced.
- Maintain and prioritise the active backlog of improvements and issues, balancing urgent fixes with strategic work.
- Serve as an escalation contact for system and process problems and drive resolution with accountability.
- Support user training and keep documentation current so teams across markets can work effectively.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in business analysis, systems, or consulting, including substantial Salesforce-related work and a proven record of independently delivering complex projects.
- Practical Salesforce experience as a power user, configurator, or administrator, with the ability to convert requirements into system design.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence people across functions and seniority levels, from market operators to regional leaders.
- Experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria for CRM or SaaS implementations, in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Experience leading structured requirements workshops with participants from different functions.
- Ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical audiences and translate business context for technical teams.
- Strong organisational ability and comfort managing several parallel workstreams in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with JIRA or a similar tool is an added advantage.
Perks and Benefits
- Dynamic and challenging working environment.
- Opportunities for personal and professional development.
- Regular company and team events.
- International workplace with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion.
- Ownership and responsibility from day one in a fast-growing global company.
- Free food.
- Health insurance.
- Dental insurance.
- Learning and development opportunities.
