Sales Supervisor - Retail

Overview

We are hiring a retail Sales Supervisor to work on location in Port Alberni, British Columbia. This position is not available for remote work, as all duties must be performed at the physical workplace.

Completion of secondary school is required.

Experience

Applicants should have 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Allocate sales staff to their daily duties.
• Approve merchandise returns when appropriate.
• Create and manage work schedules.
• Sell products to customers.
• Prepare summaries and reports covering sales performance, merchandising, and staff-related matters.
• Address operational issues such as customer concerns, complaints, and inventory shortages.
• Oversee stock organization and inventory control.
• Guide, supervise, and coordinate the work of team members.
