About the Role
Google is seeking a seasoned Sales Specialist to enhance growth in our productivity and collaboration business by cultivating and expanding relationships with existing and prospective clients. This role involves demonstrating product capabilities and showcasing key business applications while managing daily interactions with both internal teams and external customers with empathy and strategic insight. You'll identify innovative strategies that multiply collective impact and drive significant value for Google Cloud.
Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture customer relationships as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, managing complex sales cycles and influencing account trajectories.
- Meet or exceed sales targets by achieving quota and accurately forecasting and reporting on territory business performance.
- Collaborate with various Google teams including Customer Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Channels to formulate go-to-market plans, generate pipeline and drive business growth.
- Develop and implement an effective territory development strategy.
- Identify, qualify, and cultivate new business opportunities.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or equal practical experience is required.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in sales within the enterprise software or cloud computing sectors.
- Proven success selling productivity, collaboration software, or SaaS solutions to clients.
- Preferred experience includes promoting enterprise SaaS products and collaboration technologies alongside partners.
- Strong understanding of trends related to modern workplaces, hybrid work environments, collaboration, and communication technologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Google Cloud product offerings.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage several concurrent, time-sensitive projects with minimal supervision in a dynamic setting.
- Skill in influencing and engaging with senior-level stakeholders (C-level executives) within client organizations.
