Role Summary
GPSC is hiring a full-time Sales Specialist for an on-site position in Abu Dhabi. The role is centered on generating and qualifying new business leads, growing client relationships within the oil and gas sector, and presenting the company’s training and consultancy offerings. The position also includes preparing proposals, leading sales discussions, negotiating agreements according to company guidelines, and coordinating with training and operations teams to make sure client expectations are met. In addition, the Sales Specialist will track market activity, keep CRM data accurate, and share sales forecasts and performance updates on a regular basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities.
- Build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders in the oil and gas sector.
- Promote GPSC’s training and consultancy services to potential customers.
- Conduct sales calls, meetings, and client presentations.
- Prepare proposals and support contract discussions and negotiations in line with company policy.
- Work closely with training and operations teams to align solutions with client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and monitor sales activity.
- Follow market developments and submit sales forecasts and performance reports.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at various levels.
- Demonstrated experience in sales, including prospecting, managing pipelines, and closing business.
- Background in training sales or consultancy services, ideally within oil and gas or the wider energy industry.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management abilities.
- Ability to work in a target-focused setting while handling several accounts and priorities at once.
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms and standard Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent English communication skills; additional languages and familiarity with regional markets are beneficial.
