Role overview
This position is focused on driving sales performance for assigned business accounts in the leisure segment. The role involves tracking market developments, monitoring competitors, and executing the sales plan to help the organization meet its commercial and profitability goals.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders across regional teams and headquarters to support sales objectives.
- Represent the company in customer meetings and external events whenever needed.
- Take the lead on shaping and rolling out strategies for new stations or territories, and serve as the main contact for any GSA arrangement.
- Own or support country-level and regional commercial projects assigned by the department.
- Guide and support newly hired Sales Representatives by creating a training plan, joining early client visits, helping them learn internal systems and workflows, and acting as an ongoing reference point.
- Create, align on, and implement a sales activity plan using the tools, data, and market insights provided by Sales Strategy and Planning.
- Assess market opportunity to understand the revenue potential of current and prospective customers and use the sales toolkit to convert that potential into premium revenue.
- Gather and consolidate information that helps identify business development priorities and supports the launch of relevant products and services for customers.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with existing and prospective accounts to generate revenue using modern customer engagement methods.
- Keep regular contact with relevant accounts to share updates on new products, services, and promotions and help achieve sales targets.
- Develop trusted-advisor relationships with major accounts to support long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Research and analyze competitor, market, and industry trends to shape an effective sales approach that increases market share and visibility.
- Work with global sales enablement teams to identify effective promotional and selling techniques.
- Coordinate and prepare contractual agreements with accounts so customer needs are properly captured and aligned with company policies.
- Negotiate and manage commercial agreements with assigned accounts to close business while following corporate guidelines.
- Complete all required commercial training and contribute expertise as a subject-matter lead in the relevant area.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of relevant sales experience.
- Background in commercial work and analytical decision-making.
- Ability to lead others, including coaching and mentoring new team members.
- Strong understanding of strategic priorities and project ranking.
- Capability to represent the station or country and communicate information clearly to different audiences.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders across departments to deliver goals.
- Combination of sales ability, customer service focus, and industry knowledge to represent an airline and grow revenue effectively.
- Valid driving license.
