Role Overview
This key leadership position focuses on driving sales growth across the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) market through both partner-led and direct sales channels. The successful candidate will play a vital role in converting EcoOnline to a global-ready business by enhancing products, scaling go-to-market strategies, and expanding the partner network. This onsite role can be based in New Zealand or Australia and benefits from dedicated regional support including Sales Consultants and renewals teams, alongside global company resources.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage ANZ sales and revenue growth via partner ecosystems and direct sales efforts, emphasizing expanding partner contributions.
- Create and implement a focused go-to-market strategy for ANZ that drives customer acquisition, market penetration, and revenue expansion.
- Evaluate and nurture effective partnerships to enable partners to successfully promote and sell EcoOnline solutions across ANZ.
- Understand the regional partnership landscape to ensure support structures align with strategic goals and financial targets.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new partners that fit the company’s ideal profile to expand market reach.
- Develop partner engagement initiatives and collaborate with marketing to execute campaigns that enhance partner and customer acquisition.
- Accelerate direct sales by pinpointing key market opportunities, cultivating a qualified sales pipeline, and advancing strategic deals to closure.
- Coordinate closely with Solutions Consultants and renewal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences in new business, expansion, and retention activities.
- Utilize global support, product, marketing, and operations resources to enhance the ANZ market’s effectiveness.
- Facilitate the release and adoption of new products, including Chemical Manager, aligning market readiness with partner training and customer demand generation.
- Conduct analysis of the competitive ANZ market environment and provide insights on QHSE, ESG, and chemical management trends to guide product and marketing strategies.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline integrity, and sales forecasting using HubSpot across all channels.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of eight years in senior roles involving Sales, Channel Management, Partner Relations, Marketing, or Business Development leadership.
- At least three years in leadership positions specific to sales, marketing, business development, or partnership management.
- A proven history of cultivating and managing strong commercial partnerships, preferably in SaaS, technology, or B2B domains.
- Demonstrated expertise in direct sales with skills in pipeline creation, managing complex sales cycles, and closing deals.
- Solid knowledge of sales excellence practices including pipeline, opportunity, forecast, and performance management.
- Experience generating demand via both inbound and outbound channels.
- In-depth understanding of Environmental Health and Safety Quality (EHSQ), Environmental Social Governance (ESG), and chemical management market drivers with an ability to translate opportunities into actionable plans.
- Experience supporting regional product launches and new solutions introductions.
- Highly self-driven, resilient, and able to exercise initiative in an Australian or New Zealand based role.
