Role summary
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Operations Manager position based in Doha, Qatar. The role is responsible for keeping sales operations running effectively, improving sales outcomes, guiding showroom teams, strengthening customer experience, and supporting growth across retail stores, VIP accounts, corporate business, private sales, and digital channels.
The position covers store performance, pipeline oversight, customer relationship management, stock coordination, campaign execution, forecasting, CRM compliance, and reporting. The successful candidate will partner with sales, marketing, finance, inventory, and leadership teams to help achieve business targets and ensure sales processes are executed efficiently.
Sales growth and target delivery
- Deliver monthly and yearly sales goals across showrooms and all sales channels.
- Create practical action plans that improve sales from showrooms, online, VIP, and corporate segments.
- Develop business from VIP clients, corporate buyers, bulk orders, gifting solutions, private sales, and partnerships.
- Increase average order value through upselling and cross-selling.
- Turn walk-ins, enquiries, leads, and returning customers into confirmed purchases.
- Track the sales pipeline, follow-up activity, and conversion metrics to keep growth consistent.
Store operations
- Manage daily sales activity across all showrooms.
- Ensure every store is ready for trade, including display quality, correct pricing, available stock, grooming standards, and service readiness.
- Review branch performance and take corrective steps when targets are missed.
- Make sure POS usage, CRM updates, sales procedures, and reporting standards are followed properly.
- Coordinate stock movement between branches based on demand, sales trends, and customer needs.
Team leadership
- Lead, train, support, and motivate sales staff to meet both individual and store targets.
- Run regular team meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
- Build team capability in product knowledge, customer engagement, upselling, cross-selling, and closing techniques.
- Ensure staff maintain discipline, grooming, customer service standards, and strong brand presentation.
- Spot performance gaps and propose improvement plans for team members.
VIP and customer relationship management
- Manage VIP clients, private appointments, and exclusive product previews.
- Organize private home previews or personalized presentations for selected VIP customers when needed.
- Keep the customer database current to support repeat business, follow-ups, and personalized engagement.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and maintain a premium service experience.
- Handle escalated complaints professionally and work toward timely resolution.
Corporate sales support
- Develop and maintain relationships with companies, hotels, banks, real estate firms, government-related organizations, and other corporate customers.
- Promote premium gifting packages, bulk buying opportunities, and corporate collections.
- Follow up with corporate prospects and convert them into confirmed orders.
- Coordinate with internal teams to prepare proposals, product selections, and pricing options for corporate accounts.
Inventory and slow-moving stock
- Track fast-moving, slow-moving, and dead stock across all branches.
- Recommend controlled sales approaches for older stock without harming brand image.
- Support private sales, archive collection initiatives, bundle offers, and VIP previews for selected inventory.
- Work with inventory and warehouse teams to make sure the right products are available in the right locations.
- Share feedback on demand trends, customer preferences, sizes, colors, and stock shortages.
Campaigns and promotions
- Coordinate with marketing on product launches, seasonal campaigns, private sales, archive collections, and promotions.
- Ensure sales teams are briefed properly before each campaign.
- Monitor campaign performance, customer response, sales results, and conversion rates.
- Share feedback and suggestions for improvement with management.
Reporting and analysis
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management.
- Review branch-level sales, product performance, customer trends, team performance, and campaign results.
- Keep CRM records accurate, including pipeline updates and sales forecasts.
- Identify operational issues and recommend process improvements.
- Provide practical insights that improve sales, operations, customer experience, and profitability.
Process improvement and coordination
- Review existing sales workflows and suggest improvements to raise efficiency.
- Work closely with finance, marketing, inventory, and leadership teams to keep operations smooth.
- Support the rollout of sales tools, CRM platforms, dashboards, and reporting systems.
- Help design sales incentive plans, performance tracking methods, and customer service improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Management, or a related discipline is required. The ideal candidate should have experience in sales operations, retail sales management, commercial operations, or a similar position. Background in luxury retail, fashion, leather goods, lifestyle products, or premium customer service will be an advantage.
The role calls for someone who can consistently deliver targets, understands showroom operations and stock flow, and is comfortable managing customer interactions and frontline sales teams. Strong analytical ability, CRM and POS familiarity, reporting capability, and advanced Excel or similar tools are valued. Excellent communication, leadership, coordination, organization, and time-management skills are essential, along with the ability to work full-time onsite in Doha in a fast-paced environment.
Role objective
The purpose of this position is to maintain strong sales results, smooth showroom operations, a premium customer experience, effective team leadership, and continuous business growth across MBH Holding Group’s retail and commercial channels.
