About the Role

Bastar Dairy Farm Private Limited is recruiting a Sales & Marketing Manager to drive franchise growth and operational excellence in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh. This role focuses on expanding and managing a network of franchise outlets, ensuring compliance, coordinating warehouse and asset management, and leading a small field team for impactful business development.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Expand the franchise network by identifying and securing new franchise partners throughout the Bastar District and nearby regions, managing onboarding processes including KYC, FSSAI licensing, deposits, ERP setup, agreement signings, and asset deployments.
  • Ensure operational compliance at franchise outlets with regular scheduled visits across seven routes, supervise field executives on certain routes, enforce franchise agreement terms such as exclusive selling policies, permitted operating hours, digital payments, and FSSAI validation, while auditing assets, inventory, cold chain, hygiene, and payment processes.
  • Drive active business development at franchise outlets by increasing sales volume through assigning local small customers, connecting stores with bulk buyers like hostels, hotels, and schools, managing institutional supply chains including CRPF camps, and organizing 30-day local launch promotions for new franchises.
  • Maintain a comprehensive asset register of company equipment, supervise and approve branding material procurement, ensure proper installation and condition of signage, and manage regular servicing for refrigeration equipment with rapid response to breakdowns to maintain cold chains.
  • Oversee two city warehouses with weekly visits, ensuring stock integrity, hygiene, compliance with stock release policies, and coordinate replenishment and asset upkeep with operations management.
  • Keep complete ERP-compliant documentation including franchise agreements, asset forms, service records, expense reports, and sales data. Submit daily, weekly, and monthly activity and performance reports to senior management, and uphold stringent cold chain standards.
  • Lead, schedule, and develop the field team of two executives, plan sales drives for major festivals, and collaborate with production to forecast and prepare for seasonal stock demands.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Mandatory Master’s degree: MBA in Marketing, Sales, Rural Management, Agribusiness, FMCG Supply Chain, or equivalent PGDM. Candidates with additional certifications are favored.
  • Minimum 5 years (up to 10+) experience in field sales, distribution management, franchise operations, or FMCG channel management; experience in dairy, cold chain, or food and beverage sectors preferred.
  • Proven track record managing multi-route distribution involving 30+ outlets or multiple territories and demonstrated success growing franchise networks.
  • Experience leading teams with a structured reporting approach and performance reviews.
  • Prior institutional/bulk sales to government, defense, hospitality, education, or corporate clients is advantageous.
  • Strong preference for candidates familiar with Bastar district market, routes, and local languages (Hindi/Chhattisgarhi).

Mandatory Technical Skills

  • Expertise in ERPNext for customer management, asset tracking, claims, and sales reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analytics, KPI dashboards, and data processing.
  • Competence with digital tools such as WhatsApp Business, Google Docs/Sheets, and UPI payment verifications.
  • Possession of a 2-wheeler driving license is mandatory; 4-wheeler/LMV license preferred for outer route supervision.
  • Ability to independently manage ERPNext expense claims with full documentation and timely submissions.

Additional Information

The job is located in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh. Franchise acquisition requires a deposit of Rs. 500,000 per outlet, with a 1% sales incentive on the deposit per franchise activated. The candidate will manage assets, warehouses, data reporting, and lead field sales initiatives including festival sales drives and institutional relationships.
