About the Role

We are inviting applications for the position of Sales and Construction Administrator based in Cambridge, Waikato, New Zealand. This role primarily supports our Sales and Senior Management teams by managing client relations and administrative functions related to construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main contact for designated clients, handling communications and managing expectations effectively.
  • Support the sales team by assisting with sales enquiries, including hosting duties at Showhomes, Homeshows, and the Cambridge Design Centre.
  • Maintain continual communication with clients throughout their building process, providing updates on progress or any delays impacting timelines.
  • Input and update project specifications within Buildertrend software and coordinate timelines with project managers.
  • Engage with local council systems such as Alpha One to monitor the progress of plan submissions.
  • Collaborate regularly with Architectural Designers by supplying accurate design details and responding to Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Prepare presentations and proposals for senior management when required.
  • Keep informed on company offerings and protocols as well as industry trends.
  • Participate in client meetings and trade events, often scheduled on weekends.
  • Build and nurture internal and external relationships with staff, suppliers, and clients.
  • Adhere to company health and safety standards, identifying hazards and taking steps to minimize risks, as well as reporting any incidents or injuries promptly.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proficiency with Buildertrend or comparable build management software.
  • At least two years of experience in administration or sales and marketing roles.
  • Background in the residential building sector is a plus.
  • Sales and marketing knowledge and skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Competence in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Canva or equivalent design software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

Additional Information

This full-time position is based onsite in Cambridge, Waikato, New Zealand. Attendance at trade events and client meetings may occasionally require weekend availability.
