Role overview
Time Out is hiring a commercially minded sales leader to join the Doha revenue team. The position focuses on designing, pitching, and delivering high-impact campaigns for commercial partners across Doha and the wider GCC. This is a client-facing role that requires strong media sales experience, proven success working with teams, and a solid network of contacts in the region.
What you will do
- Own and grow monthly revenue for Time Out Doha and other GCC markets.
- Create and present inventive campaign ideas for a wide range of clients.
- Push beyond revenue goals through polished pitching and proactive concept development.
- Bring in new business by building relationships with new partners and clients.
- Manage a client portfolio and collaborate closely with PR and media agencies.
- Develop monthly and seasonal products and offers to widen commercial opportunities.
- Spot opportunities for events and activations that can support partner goals.
- Prepare strong presentations that clearly bring pitch ideas to life.
- Deliver accurate and professional post-campaign reports.
- Work with the Group Commercial Director to identify cross-brand amplification opportunities across ITP Media Group.
- Coordinate with the Commercial Director to ensure client briefs are exceeded.
- Partner with the editorial director so all executions align with content and editorial standards.
- Stay closely connected to the local market by using contacts and social channels to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Handle ad hoc projects and other reasonable requests from company directors.
What we are looking for
- At least five years of experience selling to both agencies and direct clients.
- Strong background in launching products, working with teams, and selling media solutions.
- A proven network of contacts across the region.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A creative approach to developing unique sales executions.
- Comfort working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong understanding of digital, print, social, and events media formats.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Professional, flexible, and commercially aware mindset.
- English and Arabic fluency is required.
