As the Sales Manager, you will lead a team of outbound Relationship Managers focused on delivering customer retention and expanding our SME customer portfolio. You will be instrumental in creating a proactive sales environment that maximizes customer engagement, increases wallet share, and drives continuous value throughout the customer lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to outbound Relationship Managers to meet sales, retention, and growth objectives.
  • Establish and implement structured outbound sales strategies, including call frameworks, cadences, and portfolio lifecycle approaches.
  • Strategically segment customer portfolios to prioritize initiatives around retention, growth, and share of wallet.
  • Drive targeted outbound engagement through carefully planned calling programs.
  • Regularly assess and enhance team performance via sales coaching, pipeline management, and activity tracking.
  • Cultivate a results-oriented culture emphasizing accountability, customer success, and continual improvement.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Experience, and other departments to optimize customer engagement and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure effective utilization of CRM and sales tools to maintain pipeline visibility and customer oversight.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a dynamic, people-oriented sales leader with a strong background in outbound B2B sales. Proven success in building high-achieving teams through structured methodologies and effective coaching is essential. You excel at navigating change, influencing teams, and maintaining a commercial focus to drive strong sales outcomes while nurturing an engaging and motivated culture.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in outbound B2B sales, consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets.
  • Proven expertise in leadership, coaching, and managing outbound phone sales teams with strong knowledge of sales methodologies and CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Genesys.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change and successfully embed new operational approaches.
  • Understanding of customer lifecycle management with a passion for enhancing customer engagement and portfolio growth.

Experience from industries such as telecommunications, energy, or financial services with high-volume outbound sales environments is welcomed, though not required.

Benefits

  • 27 days of annual leave per year.
  • Flexible hybrid work arrangements with office facilities including convenient parking and proximity to Ellerslie Station.
  • Company-subsidized health insurance coverage from the first day.
  • Flexible dress code policy to suit your workday.
  • Up to 16 weeks paid parental leave for primary caregivers and 4 weeks for secondary caregivers, with no minimum tenure required.
  • Continuous training and career development opportunities.
  • Rewards program featuring discounts with various retailers.
  • Regular social events, wellbeing programs, and team activities organized through our Social Club and Pit Crew.
  • A comprehensive range of additional employee benefits.
