Role overview
Based in Christchurch and reporting directly to the CEO, this is a senior sales and leadership position with a strong field focus. The successful person will spend time on farms, developing trusted customer relationships, expanding the farmer network, leading regional sales activity, and delivering commercial results.
What you'll do
- Build, strengthen, and expand a strong network of farmers.
- Support, coach, and lead a team of 3 Territory Managers across New Zealand.
- Drive ram sales and convert opportunities into outcomes.
- Work closely with farmers to improve breeding and production systems.
- Spot new growth avenues and help channel supply into a premium global brand.
- Encourage teamwork, knowledge sharing, and consistent execution across the group.
- Represent Headwaters at sales events, field days, and industry gatherings.
