Role Overview
This position is for a Sales Manager in the DST channel, focused on gold loan business expansion across South India. The role is centered on building business through new KYC acquisition, supervising field sales activity, and ensuring target achievement within the assigned cluster.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new KYC business generation for the branch or cluster.
- Select sales executives for each branch and support them with on-field training and handholding to improve selling habits, sales communication, and overall productivity.
- Track, coordinate, and deliver assigned targets within deadlines as set by management.
- Travel across the cluster for meetings, training sessions, and review discussions.
- Study the market to identify key business drivers and decide the right activity, location, and timing.
- Conduct regular staff reviews to strengthen lead quality, lead volume, and overall business output.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong direct sales background, preferably in field sales
- Knowledge of the assigned territory
- Ability to speak the local language
- People management capability
- Good communication skills
- Problem-solving and negotiation ability
Eligibility
Open to any graduate. The role is intended for male candidates. Candidates should be comfortable handling sales responsibilities across South India and travelling within the cluster as needed.
