Role Overview
An opportunity is open for a Sales Manager focused on Bakeries & Pastry to own one of the most technical and relationship-led segments in the market. The role calls for strong product expertise, consultative selling, and the ability to build credibility with clients whose businesses are driven by production needs.
The position centers on deep category knowledge, technical sales capability, and the development of long-term client partnerships.

The objective of this role is to increase product adoption through technical selling while building lasting relationships with production-focused customers who expect expertise rather than simple supply.

- Technical account development makes up 20% and includes close collaboration with chefs and production teams, along with product trials and adoption efforts.
- Team leadership contributes 20% and involves managing Account Managers and guiding a technical selling approach.
- Commercial execution carries 10% and covers pricing, supply agreements, and margin control.

Experience and Profile
The role calls for 7 to 10+ years of experience in bakery and pastry segment sales. Candidates should have strong knowledge of flour and mixes, cream and dairy, fillings and glazes, chocolate, and other bakery ingredients.
Experience working with artisan bakeries, pastry chains, or industrial bakery operations is essential. The role also requires a high level of technical engagement, including product trials and recipe development, plus the ability to collaborate effectively with culinary or technical teams.
