Role overview
This position is focused on building and converting business opportunities in the Cloud and Security space. The selected person will partner closely with account sales teams and solution specialists to understand client requirements and steer commercial discussions. It is an execution-oriented role where performance directly influences account outcomes and business results.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent background is required; an MBA or similar qualification is preferred.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in enterprise sales or account management is needed.
- The role calls for strong capability in solution-led selling.
- The candidate should be highly driven in sales outreach, follow-ups, and commitment delivery.
- Prior field sales exposure in technology services is important.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-team collaboration skills are necessary.
Responsibilities
- Carry out the segment strategy to achieve and exceed order book and revenue goals.
- Open conversations with target accounts, understand their business pain points, and clearly present relevant product value.
- Build customer proposals and presentations.
- Share feedback with sales and product teams to help improve offerings and expand market reach.
- Identify opportunities and drive them through to closure.
- Keep a healthy record of qualified leads and support reliable deal forecasting.
- Work with sales, solutions, subject matter experts, production, commercial, and marketing teams to meet customer needs.
- Convert customer inputs into actionable insights for solution and product teams to shape proposals.
- Coordinate responses across functions and take ownership of the final outcome.
- Share market intelligence and competitive updates with internal stakeholders.
- Prepare, present, and explain proposed solutions and commercial terms to customers.
Additional information
This is an operational role with direct accountability for results within the assigned account and business area.
