Role overview

We are looking for a Sales Export Manager to support commercial expansion in Qatar, with the position based in Mesaieed. The role exists to strengthen export activity, deepen customer relationships, improve market insight, and drive strategic sales growth across the Middle East and other markets.

As part of a growing sales organization, this position will help improve revenue performance, support customer satisfaction, and contribute to long-term market positioning.

What you will do

  • Create and roll out export sales growth plans using prior performance, overall business strategy, and market developments.
  • Oversee sales activities to ensure they stay aligned with targets and commercial objectives.
  • Take part in key contract conversations and negotiations with major customers.
  • Generate new business through networking, prospecting, and regular customer follow-up.
  • Strengthen relationships with key accounts and help maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the coordination point between sales, tendering, supply chain, and plant teams so that product availability, contract terms, and customer needs remain aligned.
  • Provide management with clear weekly, monthly, and annual updates.
  • Track competitor activity and market movements, including pricing, products, and delivery timelines.
  • Handle customer complaints by reviewing issues and recommending practical solutions.

What we are looking for

A strong sales professional with experience in export markets, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams. The ideal candidate should be commercially sharp, customer-focused, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving international environment.

Preferred background

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the cables industry, utilities, or oil and gas is a strong advantage.
  • Solid understanding of Middle Eastern markets and business conditions.
  • Demonstrated success in building, progressing, and closing sales opportunities.
  • A customer-first approach combined with strong market awareness.
  • Ability to collaborate across global teams while maintaining operational discipline.

Additional information

This position is for on-site work in Mesaieed, Qatar. The role has been opened to support increased export demand and broader commercial growth.
