Job description

Position Overview

As a Bid Manager, you will work within the Sales team to develop creative solutions that help shape both the company’s success story and the long-term success of its customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the full tender and proposal process, from gathering requirements and assembling offers through final completion and submission.
  • Review proposals and tenders for content, format, legal, procedural, and timing compliance, and monitor adherence to the relevant bid criteria.
  • Maintain and update tender platforms as well as reference documentation.
  • Help shape and improve new processes related to bid and offer management.

Candidate Profile

  • Initial professional experience in Sales or Account Management, preferably in the software and IT environment.
  • Hands-on experience preparing offers or proposals.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills for effective collaboration with clients and internal teams.
  • Very good command of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Well-structured and organised way of working.
  • Native-level German and at least good English skills.

What You Can Expect

  • An environment that is always open to change and improvement rather than sticking to “the way it has always been done”.
  • The opportunity to contribute your expertise, help shape processes, standardise existing topics, and optimise workflows.
  • Freedom to bring in new ideas and help move the team forward.

Benefits and Working Conditions

  • Home-office contract and exceptional flexibility thanks to freely arranged working hours.
  • Permanent employment contract and 30 days of leave.
  • FlexWork: the option to work remotely from another European country for up to 3 months per year.
  • Monthly budget for individually selectable benefits from more than 50 options via emplu, plus additional offers through Corporate Benefits, as well as bicycle and car leasing via salary conversion.
  • Mental health support through Nilo, including 10 free sessions with psychologists per year plus access to meditations and courses.
  • Targeted support for professional and personal development.
  • A structured onboarding experience with a mentor programme.
  • Part of the #teamgreen culture, built on collaboration, openness, and trust.
  • Modern equipment and central offices in Walldorf, Berlin, Munich, and Leipzig.
  • Employer support for occupational pension contributions and capital-forming benefits for long-term security.
