Role overview
This is a permanent Sales Executive position based in Oldbury. The role offers a basic salary of £20,000 plus uncapped commission, with a realistic on-target earnings range of £40,000 to £50,000. The role is full time at 40 hours per week, worked across 5 days out of 7 with two consecutive days off during the week. Weekend work is required.
The ideal person will enjoy a fast-moving, energetic environment, have a genuine interest in cars, and be comfortable following a detailed, service-led sales process.
Key duties
- Welcome customers into the store and quickly build a friendly, natural connection.
- Provide a low-pressure sales experience while identifying customer needs and preferences.
- Prepare in-person quotations for selected and recommended vehicles based on those needs.
- Promote suitable add-on products and finance options where appropriate.
- Manage the vehicle handover process while maintaining a high standard of customer care.
- Work closely with other departments to keep service levels high and customer expectations well managed.
Candidate profile
You should bring a strong background in sales or customer service, with the ability to work in a target-driven environment being a plus. Prior experience selling financial products would be helpful, although full training will be provided. The company is looking for someone who can build rapport quickly, develop lasting customer relationships, and remain flexible for weekend shifts.
