Role Summary
The Junior Sales Executive supports the sales function by helping identify opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and assisting with the closure of IT solution and service deals. This position is designed to build sales capability, product understanding, and client engagement skills while contributing to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with lead generation by screening incoming inquiries and carrying out initial outreach.
- Keep the sales pipeline current and ensure CRM records are accurately maintained.
- Follow up on marketing campaigns and event leads to help convert prospects into opportunities.
- Coordinate meetings, product demos, and sales calls.
- Join client discussions, capture requirements, and pass key details to senior sales colleagues for follow-up.
- Maintain professional communication with clients throughout the sales cycle under guidance.
- Support the preparation of proposals and quotations with direction from senior team members.
- Help gather and submit documents related to RFPs, contracts, and customer onboarding.
- Keep sales documents and client files organized and up to date.
- Work closely with marketing, technical, and sales teams to keep activities aligned during the sales process.
- Take part in team meetings, training activities, and product knowledge sessions.
- Maintain clean CRM data, including client details, opportunity updates, and meeting records.
- Share weekly updates on assigned leads and prospects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in sales, telesales, or a client-facing role.
- Strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to build rapport.
- Comfort using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft products will be an advantage.
