Job Overview
This Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer position focuses on the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) sector within the Oil & Gas industry, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role primarily involves stimulating sales growth across energy, petrochemical, and allied sectors by engaging with EPC companies. The candidate will be expected to manage bid and tender processes effectively while cultivating long-term client relationships to ensure sustained profitability and growth. Self-driven individuals with strong negotiation skills and business insight will thrive in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development by identifying and securing new opportunities with EPC firms in energy and petrochemical fields to increase revenue streams.
- Manage the entire tendering and RFQ cycle, ensuring submission meets all compliance criteria and deadlines.
- Lead sourcing and procurement initiatives by choosing appropriate suppliers and partners aligned with EPC project standards.
- Build and nurture relationships with vital stakeholders including decision-makers and strategic industrial partners.
- Handle negotiations regarding pricing, contracts, credit terms, and NDAs to maximize beneficial outcomes for the company.
- Offer technical analysis and customized solutions based on customer requirements.
- Maintain and monitor an active sales pipeline to assure regular progress and deal successful closures.
- Coordinate across internal teams, suppliers, and external entities to guarantee flawless project delivery.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an associated discipline.
- Professional experience ranging from three to over five years in sales, trading, or business development, preferably within the EPC or energy sectors.
- Established network and demonstrable experience in supplier sourcing, partner creation, and procurement aligned with EPC project requirements.
- Technical understanding of chemical products, their applications, and relevant industrial solutions.
- Ability to formulate and execute business strategies consistently meeting sales objectives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
