Responsibilities

  • Spearhead sales expansion and profitability across a network of distribution locations.
  • Consistently surpass targets for revenue, gross profit, and sales volume.
  • Identify, cultivate, and secure significant business opportunities with major clients.
  • Maintain a strong field presence, actively engaging with sales personnel, distribution partners, and clientele.
  • Lead by example by actively participating in lead generation, deal negotiation, and client development initiatives.
  • Provide support to the sales force in expediting opportunities and resolving challenges to growth.
  • Develop and mentor a high-achieving sales team, ensuring oversight of the sales pipeline, client engagement, and performance execution.
  • Set clear performance benchmarks and ensure accountability for sales activities, customer interactions, and achieved results.

Qualifications

  • Possess over 10 years of progressive experience in B2B sales, specifically within distribution, foodservice, consumer products, or allied sectors.
  • Demonstrate experience in selling high-volume products through intricate distribution networks.
  • Exhibit a proven history of successfully driving revenue growth, enhancing profitability, and expanding market share.
  • Showcase a demonstrated capacity for leading, developing, and motivating effective sales teams.
  • Exhibit strong commercial insight, negotiation prowess, and expertise in customer relationship management.
  • Adopt a hands-on leadership approach, with a commitment to extensive field engagement.
  • Ability to thrive and perform effectively in a dynamic, growth-focused business environment.

Pay Range and Compensation Package
